In Asian cuisine, many recipes of raitas (yogurt sauce) are used with meals. Here I’m sharing
the simplest and most commonly made raita recipe, basically people love to make
in summer frequently as it consists of refreshing ingredients like cucumber along with other
spice, you can add up or shuffle the ingredients as per your choice but the main ingredient make it
special and healthy especially in summers it refreshes your stomach and also is a good appetizer.
Ingredients:
- yogurt 500 ml
- cucumber 2 big crushed
- tomato 1 chopped
- green chili 1 tsp crushed
- coriander 1 tbsp chopped
- onion 1 (optional)
- cumin(white) 1 tsp
- black pepper 1 tsp crushed
- salt As per taste
- chaat masala 1/2 tspn
Preparation:
In a bowl pour yogurt and add crushed cucumber, tomato, onion, chili, and coriander
then add spices one by one and mix it all until get smooth. Raita is ready to serve with the meal.
