Make Gulab Jaman At Home

Asian cuisine is rich in every aspect ,As far as desserts are concerned ,
it present minute tastes in simple dessert ,”Gulab Jaman” is one of
those recipies which are massively liked by people of every age group , though
it is simple but technical to adjust the recipe and measurements , Gulab Jaman
is made in different ways inside Pakistan or India ,the simpler method is definately
the bestest ,I have made this recipe in 20 mins , you can try it instantly or get the best taste .

Ingredients:

  • Dry Milk full cream 1 1/2
  • All purpose flour 1/2
  • baking powder 1 tspn
  • Melted Butter (unsalted) 4 tbspn
  • milk to knead 1/2 cup warm
  • oil for deep frying

For Sugar Syrup:

  • water 2 cups
  • sugar 1 1/2 cups
  • cardamom/elaichi 4 to 5
  • lemon few drops

Method:

In a bowl add milk powder, all purpose flour ,baking powder , melted butter and knead with warm milk with soft hands. Don’t overknead ,then make small even balls of your choice , deep fry the balls untill they get increase the size .

Add two glass of water in a seperate pan ,put sugar and add cardamom and lemon juice to avoid crystalization , keep moving the spoon untill it turns into sugar syrup, then add the cooked balls into syrup and let them absorb it , leave it for half an hour then serve with tea and enjoy yummy dessert.
